How does HydraFacial work?

 

Step 1. Clean and Peel

First, we gently cleanse the skin. For this we use a combination of Triclosan and Zinc with PCA. These ingredients ensure that your dead skin cells are soaked away. These dead skin cells are then gently removed with the HydraFacial device, after which a new healthy layer of skin is created. Your dull, gray appearance disappears and high-quality ingredients can be absorbed better and deeper into your skin.

 

Next, we'll peel your skin away with a combination of glycolic and salicylic acids. Glycolic acid has a wonderful effect on the structure of your skin, such as large pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Salicylic acid can penetrate deep into your pores to soften the sebum there so we can remove it properly in the next step. This safe peeling may cause a slight stinging or tingling sensation on the skin, but it certainly doesn't hurt. If you undergo the HydraFacial treatment more often, we can increase the strength of the peeling for an even more intensive result.

 

Step 2: Extraction and Hydration

This step removes anything that doesn't belong in your pores. This includes make-up residue, excess sebum, sweat, dirt and blackheads. We use a high vacuum that goes over your skin. At the same time, we moisturize your skin. All this is painless. And how rewarding is it if you can see for yourself in the waste cylinder at the end of the treatment how many impurities have come off your skin during the treatment? You will be amazed!

 

Step 3. Ingestion and Protection

HydraFacial has a patented infusion system, which allows us to bring serums that are specifically tailored to your skin deep into your skin, without damaging it. Who is HydraFacial suitable for?

HydraFacial is suitable for men and women and for all skins, skin types and almost all skin indications. Also for problematic and scalp. After the treatment you can go out in the sun with the right products and SPF protection, ideal to keep your skin in good condition during the summer months. We do not perform HydraFacial treatment if you suffer from active infections, wounds, autoimmune diseases, sunburned skin or if you are taking roaccutane or other skin-thinning medications.

How many HydraFacial treatments do I need?​

That of course depends entirely on your wishes. A single HydraFacial treatment already gives your skin a nice boost. But for best results, we recommend repeating this treatment every four weeks. Because your skin cells renew about every 28 days, your skin may start to clog again. As a result, your home products work less deeply and your skin becomes dull and gray again. Returning to HydraFacial every four weeks will keep your skin healthy and glowing!
